Vicki Leigh
I generally appear as Ms. Vicki only when I am performing. Being a 'Female Impersonator' takes up a lot of time and I hate peeling off all that duct tape at the end of the night. My first performance as a Female Impersonator was at the "New Connection", now known as "Georgie's Alibi". I started going there the first time I ever went out in drag in the summer of 1999. I always had this big hair, 60's beach party look, which has since become my trademark. I was fascinated by the shows, but had no desire to be a performer myself. Mark, the DJ, and Joey Brooks kept telling me I should enter the talent contest. With some reluctance, I did my first performance in February 2000. (thanks to Della Catessen and www.mygayweb.com) |

I have never been one of those uptight queens, "I am an entertainer"! I don't get into drag unless I am getting paid. This is my job, some people work in a bank, and I am a professional Goddess. As for how I prefer to be referred to, that just depends on what term an individual is accustomed to using. Whether or not you will get stepped on by me is determined by the way you say it. You see it's not the term it's the tone. I can't sum up my career just yet I'm not finished. However, so far, I would tell you that I have been the best entertainer that I have been able to be. For eleven years now I have been performing at "Backstreet Atlanta" in "Charlie Brown's Cabaret". (thanks to Della Catessen and www.mygayweb.com) |

I have been doing drag for about 16 years now, since October 1988. . I had been going to drag shows regularly for several years and have always really enjoyed them. However, I always vehemently swore that I would never do drag. A friend dared me to do drag for Halloween that year, and I told him that if he did it I would too. So, we both got in drag and went out to "Tracks" one of the big dance clubs in Washington DC, and danced the night away. Currently, I am not a regular performer at any one club. I regularly do guest spots at many of the clubs in DC whenever they need people to fill in. I was a regular at "Ziegfeld's DC's" main show bar, for two years and kind of burned out on it. It takes a lot of effort to do a show every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night and still work your regular 9 - 5 day job. You spend all your free evenings after work coming up with new numbers to do and new costumes to wear. I much prefer the freedom of doing guest spots and filling in where I'm needed. It still allows me to quench my thirst for entertaining without feeling tied down by being a regular. |

My first performance took place in Santa Rosa California in 1995, at a club called the "Club Heaven". It was a Closet Ball where I won 3rd place. I performed Celine Dion's "Misled", the club mix version that I lip-synced. My favorite entertainer is Anastasia and my favorite song is "I'm Outta Love". I most often impersonate Cher; she is the bomb! It is easy impersonating her, as I am tall and skinny like her. When it comes to role models; that would have to be RuPaul! I have a picture of us from 1996 when she sang live at Tower Records in San Francisco. I just love her! (thanks to Della Catessen and www.mygayweb.com) |
Daphne Ferraro
Born in Staten Island, New York, February 3, 1979, Daphne Ferraro is a female impersonator who lives in Spring Hill (Tampa), Florida. In college Daphne earned her major in theatre, which she loves and hopes to eventually move to New York city with her biggest fan, her sister. She also hopes that someday, Hollywood will be 'knocking at her door'! She has worked at many Clubs during her short 2 year career including the "Matrix", "BT's", "Lost 'n Found", the "Cold Keg" and hopefully at a club near you very soon! Check out her refreshing, "Newcomer", perspective on the art of "Female Impersonating". I am sure you will enjoy it! (thanks to Della Catessen and www.mygayweb.com) |

My career began right here in St. Petersburg, Florida when I met an entertainer named Niki Silvers at a bar called the 'Club' when I was 17 years old. Niki was a very well known Female Illusionist. We immediately became friends, and as the saying goes, he has also been my "Drag Mama". We're all influenced by something, for me it was performing. Eventually Niki suggested I enter a talent show at the 'Club'. After some contemplation I agreed to enter into the show. I created my very first 'Drag' outfit just for the show. I chose to sing Olivia Newton John's, "A Little More Love", because it was popular at the time. Surprisingly enough I won the talent show! That was the beginning of a long career as a Female Impersonator and many years of being in this industry. (thanks to Della Catessen and www.mygayweb.com) No Website or Email |

I prefer being called a Female Impersonator. I have been performing for about 11 years excluding a five-year break I took to put my personal life in order. My fans can see me often as I appear in many clubs around Florida. (thanks to Della Catessen and www.mygayweb.com) Website |

Welcome to my world of illusion, confusion, and entertainment. I am the "house madam" (that is hostess/emcee) at 'Club Attitudes' just outside of Orlando, Florida in Leesburg. We have a great time at our "La Cage" shows on Saturday nights, as well as special events throughout the year. As a live vocalist, as well as a part-time stand-up comic, I have a great time with my audience. I also do the traditional "lip-synch," but like comedy and such the most. Of course, sometimes a girl's just gotta be a goddess! 'Cause ya know...it's all about having a good time! (thanks to Della Catessen and www.mygayweb.com) Website |
