Inspired by the incredibly talented stars of Atlanta's once thriving Female Impersonation scene, this entertainer set out to be one of the most widely respected "Boys" in the Female Impersonation business. Armed with an incredible fashion sense and a personal commitment to being the most glamorous, gracious and charming entertainers in the Southeast. After performing for 3 years, Mia went into semiretirement in 1993 before returning to the stage in 1996 with visions of Crowns dancing in her head. During her first year return to entertaining she competed in 9 pageants before capturing her first title. In February 1997 Mia joined and elite group of entertainers as Miss Atlanta Queen of Hearts. A title formerly held by Dina Jacobs and Amber Richards, among many others who gave Mia the confidence to continue the quest. Soon after, she won Miss Anderson, S.C. USofA, qualifying her to compete in the South Carolina preliminary for Miss Gay USof A in 1998. None of this compares to the exciting year that lay before her in 1999. In March 1999 Mia won the coveted title of Miss Georgia National qualifying her to compete in the finals that June. Before the National finals arrived yet another star was added to her crown with the title of Miss Armory 1999. June arrived and competing for the first time on a national level as a female impersonator, Mia with the dedicated support of her partner, Marc and innumerable friends competed and was honored with winning one of the toughest categories for all contestants....Best Interview. A category judged by some of the nations most critical judges, including former Miss Gay America, Blaze Starr. Winning Best Interview came as no surprise to Mia's fans as she was known in the competition circuit for capturing this award at virtually every pageant she competed in. Following a 5 year run entertaining and competing, Mia again decided to enter retirement with no regrets or remorse. Still active and involved with pageantry, Mia is waiting for that "one" special event that will call to her and again put her back on the stage. She has performed in the production of Rocky Horror Picture Show, the pre-show to Rocky Horror, and She currently reign as Miss Toledo RAY(Rainbow Area Youth). She is only 19, Wicca, and a Fine Arts student. She is best known for her performances as vampires, elves, Stevie Nicks, and Witches. She also has 8 Drag children who for most of the time, she is damn proud of. She can be seen at Caesar's Show Bar. Her debut was at the Cla-zel theater in Bowling Green along side Miss Jayla Desmond Foxx. |

Desiree' began her career in female illusion in 1982. A former Miss Caesar's(1985), Desiree' can be seen in the show cast at Caesar's Showbar every Friday and Saturday. She has traveled and performed throughout NW Ohio and Michigan creating such characters like Pat Benatar and Christina Aguilera. With her new position as Show Director of Caesar's Showbar she works those girls into shape. with numerous rehearsals. she is all about her craft, if she does not feel her makeup is flawless she will start over till it is. |
