 Felicia Powers
Felicia Powers began her career in 1995 by competing in Legends (Raleigh, NC) monthly talent shows. Shortly thereafter, she competed in her first North Carolina America pageant and was fortunate enough to capture the title on Miss Durham-Chapel Hill. Later that year she joined the housecast of Legends Night Club. After competing in the America system for a few years Felicia captured the title of Miss North Carolina America in 2000. She was happy to be the recipient of the Lady Barbra Award that year at Miss Gay America. Throughout her reign Felicia traveled around the state encouraging entertainers to embrace the history of the pageant and to believe that through hard work anything is possible. After completing her reign as Miss North Carolina; Felicia stepped away from the stage to help others obtain their dream of becoming Miss North Carolina. After a few years of being absent from the Legends stage, Felicia is proud to back and performing at the new Spotlight Theatre. |
