Most know her for her Burlesque dancing but she also tap-danced and performed ariel dance on the single circus rope. Her fire-eating performances was renowned and she was a regular performer with The Circus of Horrors performing her routines toppless. She has performed in shows, musicals, circuses around the world including Las Vegas, Cairo and in Europe, including Spain, Germany, Holland and Portugal. Lyn (full name Carolyn Dawson) was indeed a star and a transgender pioneer. She loved performing in her own country for her transgender family, especially in her home town of Brighton, at Ron Storme´s venues in London and in the last decade at London's WayOut Club. Just a week before her death she was working the door of a new transgender club venue welcoming old and new to the experience of community support through having fun together. Lyn Daniels was a sensitive artist and a woman who brought joy and pleasure to both her many friends and the people who saw her perform.
